With 13 years of experience practicing law in North Carolina, Sarah has built a thriving practice focused on two core areas: protecting families through comprehensive estate planning and guiding clients through residential and commercial real estate transactions. She earned her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her estate practice emphasizes estate law, elder law, and special needs planning, while her real estate closing practice serves buyers, sellers, and lenders throughout the Piedmont Triad.

Sarah believes that legal planning shouldn't feel intimidating or overwhelming. When she's not in the office, Sarah lives in Davie County with her family. You'll often find her on the sidelines cheering at her daughter Sloane's soccer games or working on her upcoming podcast, Motion to Spill, launched in December 2025. Meghan S. Rodgers is a North Carolina Certified Paralegal and Office Manager at the Law Office of Sarah Young, PLLC. She earned her paralegal degree from Forsyth Technical Community College in 2007 and provides exceptional legal support and client service.

Meghan's expertise spans estate administration and probate, estate planning, and business law support. She works directly with clients to gather information, prepare legal documents, and manage the detailed processes that make complex legal matters feel manageable. Her attention to detail, responsiveness, and ability to explain procedures in plain language have made her an invaluable resource for the firm's clients.

Whether she's preparing estate inventories, drafting trust documents, organizing business formation paperwork, or managing the day-to-day operations of the office, Meghan brings professionalism, efficiency, and a genuine commitment to client service. Clients consistently praise her ability to keep things moving, answer questions promptly, and make them feel supported throughout their legal journey.

Outside the office, Meghan lives in Davie County with her family. Her real-world experience balancing a demanding career with a busy household gives her a unique perspective on the importance of organization, planning, and having solid legal foundations in place.

With a friendly demeanor and a strong commitment to client care, Michelle helps create a smooth, organized, and reassuring experience from the moment clients walk through the door.

In her role, Michelle assists with scheduling, document preparation, client communication, and file organization—ensuring that every detail is handled efficiently and accurately. Her combination of professionalism and empathy helps clients feel comfortable and supported, whether they're beginning the estate planning process or finalizing important documents.

Michelle takes pride in being part of a team devoted to helping families plan for the future. What motivates her most is knowing she plays a meaningful role in helping clients gain clarity and peace of mind during significant life decisions.

Outside the office, Michelle lives in Davie County with her husband, their dog Bailey, and their cat Jasper. She enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing with her pets, and staying engaged in her community. With a Juris Doctorate from Elon University School of Law and a bachelor's degree in Arts and Political Science from Virginia Tech, Tessa brings both legal knowledge and genuine compassion to families navigating one of life's most difficult processes.

As the firm's Estate Administration Paralegal, Tessa guides clients through the complex steps of settling a loved one's estate after their passing. She understands that families are grieving while facing court deadlines, paperwork, and unfamiliar legal procedures. Her approach is centered on making the process as clear and manageable as possible, handling the details with care so clients can focus on their families and healing.

A graduate of University College Dublin with a degree in Law with Politics, Ciara is the newest member of our team and has quickly become an essential part of our real estate practice.

As our Real Estate Paralegal, Ciara works behind the scenes to ensure that every residential and commercial closing runs smoothly from contract to closing table. She coordinates with lenders, title companies, buyers, sellers, and real estate agents to keep transactions on track, prepares closing documents, and makes sure every detail is handled with precision and care.

What Ciara loves most about her work is the variety—no two days are ever the same—and the rewarding experience of helping clients achieve their dream of homeownership. Whether it's a first-time homebuyer or a seasoned investor, Ciara is dedicated to making the closing process as seamless and stress-free as possible.

Outside the office, Ciara is a self-proclaimed foodie who loves exploring local restaurants throughout the Piedmont Triad. When she's not discovering new culinary gems, you'll find her hiking local trails with her dog Jax, always on the lookout for the next beautiful view.
